We had the most amazing dinner at Russell’s. We enjoyed the filet mignon and lamb cutlets. Both were so delicious and tender! We also had the mashed potatoes and green beans which were wonderful! We then had the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream which was off the charts! We highly recommend it!

We have visited Russell’s this evening and have had such a lovely experience we feel compelled to review without delay. Super food and completely lovely team, in a magical venue. We’re a one x Vegetarian, one x Meat eater couple, and are real foodies. Finding somewhere that hits the mark for all of these requirements isn’t always easy, but the Russell’s team most certainly came up with the goods, and we will very definitely be back.  If we were to be hyper critical we’d ask for a little bit more imagination with the Vegetarian options, but that said, the Gnocchi was very much enjoyed!!  The front of house team are completely professional and very lovely…a huge credit!  If you feel you have no room for a pudding…we’d strongly advise to brace yourself and make space for the Affogato…you won’t be disappointed!! The best quality creamy ice cream, excellent espresso and a tot of Amaretto 👌🏼

We all had a superb meal last Friday,my Dover sole was beautifully cooked. Special thanks to Anna our very attentive waitressBe back very soon.

Decided to revisit after 18 years to celebrate our anniversary. Stayed in their fabulous suite (pricey but worth it) and had a wonderful experience in the restaurant. The food was outstanding with a wonderful wine list. Sea bass cooked to perfection. The quality of the breakfast was similar to the evening meal, as one would expect. The very pleasant and attentive staff made the whole experience a joy. Certainly won't wait another 18 years before we visit again!

We had dinner and breakfast at Russell’s. The hotel room is huge and has aircon which is a win. Great big comfy bed.
Carina’s service was fantastic for the breakfast. Big compliments to her.
Waiters at the dinner service were not very attentive and we struggled to get anyone to take our order or bring the bill.
Allover it is a super place to stay and eat. We would come again.

Excellent food made a special occasion out of going out for the day.

Have spent yet another weekend at Russell's where we've stayed many times. Many changes including ownership, management, staff and restaurant menu. Greeted warmly as always. First evening meal, we both had the special soft shell crab which was delicious, followed by beautifully cooked hake together with our choice of sides - camembert & chive mash, garlic & chilli broccoli and ratatouille - all delicious and at reasonable prices - both had desserts. Good selection of wines and would recommend the house Champagne - H. Blin Brut - walked just a few steps to our immaculately cleaned air conditioned room. Good breakfast the following days served by friendly staff whom we've known for many years. Have embraced all the recent changes and look forward to more times spent at Russell's.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Russell’s this week. Having not been to Russell’s since Andrew’s days we didn’t know what to expect, apart from having heard good reviews. I am pleased to say that we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable and our food was excellent. Norman was exceedingly attentive and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely go again. Highly recommend.

Russells Grill & Steakhouse: We had outstanding good steaks - perfectly on the point, flame grilled taste with surprisingly good sides.
Add a fast and friendly service in a nice atmosphere - and that‘s it.

Seeing how full & popular it was on the Friday night whilst walking by, prompted us to book a table for the following evening. It had a lovely ambience, the staff were very professional & friendly. The food was beautifully done & delicious.

Tom was genuinely lovely. Kind, funny, and had this easy energy that made the evening feel even better. He checked in at just the right moments and somehow made it feel like we were regulars.
The food was spot on. The lamb chops were tender and full of flavour, the truffle mash was rich and silky, and the chips were next-level crispy. Then came the crème brûlée Tom recommended—genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp top, smooth inside. No notes.
Great food, relaxed vibe, and service that actually felt personal. Would 100% go back.
